Understanding the three registers
In this experiment, the same eight notes appear in three different pitch registers. The register tells you whether the note is relatively low, middle, or high.
Low register
Answer labels appear as Low C, Low D, … Low B, C.
Middle register
Answer labels appear as C, D, … B, High C.
High register
Answer labels appear as High C, High D, … High B, Top C.
Low reference scale
Listen to the reference scale. Each note will light up as it is played.
Play the scale before continuing.

You may hear this pitch up to two times.
